Job summary

Fleet Mortgages is seeking a Telephone Business Development Manager to promote products and provide expert knowledge to intermediary partners. You will develop relationships with brokers and act as a main point of contact for new business opportunities.

The role is full-time with hybrid working up to 2 days per week from home after initial training, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to gain industry qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in face-to-face or telephone-based environments is essential.
• Experience in Mortgage or Financial Services industry is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn and build a career in Financial Services.

Responsibilities

• Set up and enact telephone contact strategy with regional panel of brokers to develop relationships and provide tailored information on Fleet Mortgages' products and criteria.
• Maximise new business potential within Fleet’s appetite.
• Achieve targets through development of intermediary relationships.
• Maintain records in the CRM system.
• Provide technical expertise and IT support to intermediaries and resolve portal issues.
• Collaborate with all areas of the business.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date on products and procedures.
