Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a Mortgage Business Development Manager for a 13-month fixed-term contract covering multiple postcodes across the UK. The role focuses on B2B intermediary relationships, mortgage product knowledge, compliance, and delivering SLAs.

You will manage a defined panel of intermediaries, participate in events, and work on a hybrid basis with support from telephony and field teams. CeMAP is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• B2B intermediary mortgage sales experience.
• Excellent mortgage product and policy insight.
• Up-to-date knowledge of compliance and mortgage regulation.
• Strong relationship and account management skills.
• High standards of personal performance in day-to-day execution of tasks.
• Proven advanced communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
• Experience managing a defined panel of intermediaries within financial services with a track record of success.
• CeMAP qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deal with daily queries from intermediaries on new and existing cases.
• Develop, maximise and nurture intermediary relationships within a specific post coded area.
• Collaborate with Telephony and Face to Face BDM to meet SLAs for intermediary contacts, via an effective contact strategy.
• Attend, plan and deliver intermediary events with roundtables and platform presentations.
