This role is a permanent part‑time position offering 37 hours per week, and the salary will be pro‑rata where part‑time hours are undertaken.

Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) is a vibrant and fast paced organisation which aims to provide the absolute best primary healthcare to members of the Armed Forces and other entitled personnel.
Our MOD Dentists aim is to maximise the deployability of the Population at Risk, providing clinical outputs, improving, and managing the dental health and operational fitness of service personnel for whom they are responsible for.
Within your contracted weekly hours, 2 hours may be attributed to non‑clinical activities including practice meetings, training, and personal administration. The remainder of the contracted hours are to be utilised to provide clinical outputs and work will be directed towards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness of personnel for whom you are responsible.

The aim is to maximise the deployability of the Population at Risk for whom they are responsible. This is to be achieved whilst complying with General Dental Council standards, Defence policies (e.g., Joint Service Publications 950), Defence Primary Healthcare Standard Operating Procedures and single Service regulations.
