Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the Harlow cluster. You will perform planned servicing and diagnostics using mobile equipment, delivering high-quality repairs away from the workshop. You’ll operate to RAC standards with pre-booked appointments and no emergency callouts.

You will work a 40-hour week with core hours and occasional Saturday shifts, earning a base salary of £40,170 with potential OTE up to £52,000 through overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs performed to RAC standards
• Member advice and recommendations based on inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
