The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our SMR division in the Newbury area. You will perform planned maintenance and diagnostics on member vehicles, with pre-booked appointments and no reactive callouts.

You will be equipped with a RAC van, full tool set, and diagnostic equipment to complete routine servicing and in-depth repairs, while offering clear recommendations to members. The role offers a stable schedule and development opportunities within a national organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
