Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. You'll work on pre-booked appointments across Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and surrounding areas, in a fully equipped RAC van with a clear daily schedule.

Expect diagnostic work, routine servicing, and in-depth repairs with supported parts ordering. Enjoy a market-competitive base salary (£45,378) with potential to reach £57,000, plus overtime, pension, holiday allowance and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing on customer vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• Complete in-depth repairs that would normally be done in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
