Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division for the Slough area. You’ll perform planned, pre-booked servicing and diagnostics with a RAC van, handling equipment, parts, and safety checks to keep members moving.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations after inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
