Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division in the UK. You’ll work from a pre-booked schedule, performing routine servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs with a fully equipped RAC van.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs that you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
