Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician within its SMR division to perform pre-booked, on-site servicing and diagnostics. You’ll deliver planned repairs with the tools and support needed to ensure high-quality outcomes, working on a clearly scheduled list of appointments across the Newbury cluster.

You’ll operate in a non-emergency, scheduled workflow with a fully equipped RAC van, and earn a base of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus overtime, 40-hour weeks and a range

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
