Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the Newbury cluster. You will perform planned, pre-booked jobs with a fully equipped RAC van and a clear digital schedule, avoiding emergency callouts.

The role offers a 40-hour week with some Saturdays, a base salary of £40,170, and potential earnings up to £52,000 through overtime and bonuses, plus a strong benefits package including pension and life cover.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic is also acceptable.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
