Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the SMR division to deliver planned, on-site servicing and diagnostics across the Frome cluster, covering Bath, Trowbridge, Radstock and Shepton Mallet. You will work on a pre-booked schedule with a fully equipped RAC van and diagnostics tools.

You will typically perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs at members' driveways or workplaces, with overtime and bonus opportunities, and a clear path for development within a trusted

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• Perform in-depth repairs you would normally complete in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection and safety checks.
