Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the Wembley area. You will perform planned servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a schedule with no reactive callouts, using a fully equipped RAC van and advanced diagnostics.

Hours are 40 per week, with 8:30am–5:00pm core hours and one in four Saturdays. A generous benefits package supports development, pension and long‑term security.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
