Job summary

The RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You will perform planned, on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a pre-booked schedule across Wembley and surrounding areas.

You’ll work a 40-hour week with some Saturdays and overtime opportunities, using advanced mobile diagnostics and tools. Expect a base salary around £45,378 with OTE up to £57,000, guaranteed overtime, and a range of employee benefits designed to support long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics and in-depth repairs on-site.
• Using advanced mobile diagnostic equipment to diagnose issues.
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Respect RAC standards for vehicle safety checks and pre-booked schedule.
