Job summary

The RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You'll work on pre-booked jobs in the Northampton cluster, servicing and repairing vehicles at customers' driveways and car parks across the region.

Expect a base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus guaranteed overtime and a full 40-hour week. This role offers clear schedules, dedicated tools, training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Ability to perform diagnostics and servicing in a planned, pre-booked schedule.
