Job summary

RAC Motoring Services, within the SMR division, seeks Mobile Vehicle Technicians to perform planned servicing, diagnostics, and repairs at members' locations across the Stevenage cluster and surrounding areas. You will work on pre-booked jobs, not reactive callouts, ensuring high-quality work in driveways and car parks.

You will use advanced diagnostics and a full RAC van with tools, receiving ongoing support and opportunities for skill development, including EV and diagnostic capabilities as

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• Perform in-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
