Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Ware area within the SMR division, working with pre-booked appointments and a clearly planned schedule.

You will diagnose vehicles with advanced mobile equipment, perform routine servicing and in-depth repairs, and provide trusted member advice on-site at driveways or car parks. The role includes a 40-hour week with some Saturday work and ongoing development in EV/diagnostics.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• Or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
