Job summary

RAC Horsham cluster is seeking a Mobile Mechanic for its SMR division. You will perform planned, pre-booked servicing and diagnostics on-site, delivering high-quality repairs and member advice with RAC standards.

You'll work 40 hours per week (Mon-Sat availability) in a role with no emergency callouts, using a fully equipped RAC van and advanced diagnostics. Competitive salary; substantial overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you'd normally complete in a workshop.
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
