Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You will work through a scheduled list of pre-booked jobs across Newbury cluster, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs using advanced mobile equipment.

You’ll deliver member-focused service with RAC standards, in a fully equipped RAC van with tools supplied. Enjoy a market base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus overtime, 40-hour weeks, and a 1 in 4 Saturday shift pattern.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
• Experience with routine servicing and diagnostics is preferred
• Capability to perform in-depth repairs and provide member advice
