Job summary

The RAC is recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR Division. You’ll work on a pre-booked schedule across the Newbury cluster, servicing and repairing vehicles at members’ homes or workplaces with all tools provided.

Expect a base salary of £40,170 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, plus guaranteed overtime and regular bonuses. You’ll join a structured, non-emergency, planned-work environment designed for quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop
