Job summary

RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You will work on a pre-booked schedule across the Esher cluster, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and in-depth repairs with on‑board tools and diagnostics. You’ll advise members after inspections and ensure work meets RAC standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing of vehicles on a mobile basis.
• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
