The RAC is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to work on a pre-booked schedule, servicing and repairing vehicles at members' driveways or workplaces. You will carry out diagnostics, recommendations, and safety checks using advanced mobile equipment.

You will join a structured development pathway within a national organisation, with a competitive base salary and overtime opportunities. A full UK driving licence is required and the role offers independence and variety in a mobile setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsabilités

• Perform routine servicing and comprehensive diagnostics
• Carry out in-depth repairs on-site at customer locations
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspections
• Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
• Use mobile diagnostics and tools to pre-booked appointments
