RAC is expanding its SMR team and seeking skilled mobile technicians to service and repair vehicles at customers' locations across the Bridgwater cluster and surrounding areas. You will follow a pre-booked schedule, work with advanced diagnostics, and report findings directly to members.

A full UK driving licence is essential, with a focus on delivering high-quality, safe vehicle servicing. This role offers a structured development pathway, competitive base pay with overtime/bonus opportunities,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Ability to diagnose and service vehicles using mobile equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine servicing and diagnostics on-site at customers' locations.
• Conduct in-depth repairs typically done in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks to RAC standards.
