Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Harlow

Salary: £44,385 basic per annum, OTE £57,000 plus

Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays (Plenty of overtime available)

As a Mobile Mechanic within our client’s Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll use your expertise to support customers directly—whether at their home, workplace, or elsewhere. You’ll provide first‑class service without the restrictions of a traditional workshop.

Role Overview

• Work closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns, diagnose issues and service vehicles, ideally getting them back on the road.
• Identify problems and advise the customer on the vehicle’s issues.

• Represent the business and deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 or equivalent qualifications (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ) considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points or any bans.
• Demonstrable technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
