Perfect Placement is representing a market-leading automotive breakdown, recovery and repair business seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Cambridge and the surrounding region. You will attend customer locations, carry out servicing and maintenance, and deliver friendly, professional service.

The role requires NVQ II or IMI II in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, a full UK driving licence, and proven motor-trade experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or IMI Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in the motor trade as a vehicle technician.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Strong customer-focused approach and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer locations and manage time.

We are representing a market-leading automotive breakdown, recovery, and repair business, currently seeking to appoint a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Cambridge and the surrounding region. Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• Attend customer locations (both B2B and B2C) for scheduled servicing and maintenance
• Perform basic vehicle service, brake inspections, and diagnostic work
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through friendly and professional service
• Maintain vehicle diagnosis and repair records accurately
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company operating procedures
• Use company-provided tools and equipment to deliver quality service at customer sites

Requirements of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or IMI Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent; relevant practical experience will also be considered
• Proven experience within the motor trade as a vehicle technician
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently at customer locations, managing time efficiently
• Adaptability to work within scheduled hours, providing flexible availability as required
