Job summary

A leading transport solutions provider is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Tail Lift Engineer covering the Essex or Suffolk/Norfolk area. This position is ideal for experienced Transport Tail Lift Engineers or Motor Vehicle Technicians looking to enter the Transport Tail Lift industry. Responsibilities include installation, servicing, and repair of tail lift equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. The role requires a clean driving licence, GCSE education, and various technical certifications.

Qualifications

  • Must be physically fit to perform required tasks.
  • Participation in additional on call roster may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, servicing and repair of tail lift equipment.
  • Maintain product and customer knowledge to meet ISO9002 standards.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and corporate image.

Skills

Extensive experience as a Tail lift / Commercial Engineer
Commercial experience on electro-mechanical systems
Clean driving licence
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Education

Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English Language
Welding certification
STE / Weight Test Certification
NVQ Level hydraulics / electrics or equivalent experience
