About Wattbike

Wattbike is an exciting brand with a big future, and we’re looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join our team as we embark on the next stage of our growth. Wattbike is used by the biggest sports teams and athletes across the Premier League, NBA, NHL, NFL, national rugby teams and more, as well as thousands of everyday athletes at home. This role will join a passionate and established team, helping ensure that our customers get the best possible service in the delivery, installation and upkeep of their Wattbikes.

Role overview

Reporting into the Technical Service Manager, you will be involved in the daily repair and service of Wattbikes across the Midlands (60-80 miles from Wattbike HQ - company van will be provided). This role requires reliability and due diligence in contacting customers, completing repairs/services (for which full training will be given) and following up with both the customer and relevant teams, when necessary. Customer experience is absolutely core to this role and the successful candidate will be an ambassador for the Wattbike brand when out on the road. The candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise good judgement and make quick decisions when lone working. This role will require a significant amount of driving each week and will incorporate some anti-social hours.

Key responsibilities
  • Repair and service of Wattbikes at both B2B and domestic locations throughout the Midlands
  • Installation of new Wattbikes in B2B and domestic locations
  • Provide a great service to our customers - being friendly, helpful and efficient, and keeping the customer up to date on arrival and scheduling times
  • Complete post service reports using our internal portal to ensure a flow of communication as needed with the wider internal Operations team
  • Make sure the company vehicle is well maintained and clean
  • Provide accurate stock reports to ensure smooth replenishment of stock
  • Delivery and collection jobs may also be required on occasion
  • Experience in a similar role would be ideal
  • A passion for excellent customer service
  • A flexible, self-motivated, reliable, and punctual individual
  • Good and confident planner and communicator
  • Must be happy with early mornings and lots of driving
  • Full UK driving license with 3 years driving experience, and no more than 3 points on your licence
