Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.

Using the latest diagnostic equipment, you’ll combine technical skill with great customer service, make quick decisions, and develop your abilities through our structured development programme and IMI accreditation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic (alternative pathway).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK and assist members to continue their journeys safely.
