Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will start and end your day at home, working locally, with your own RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit provided.

As a Roadside Technician, you will be a skilled problem solver and ambassador for RAC, ensuring quick, confident solutions and excellent member service on every call.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• Alternatively, 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end the day at home with RAC van and equipment provided.
