Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll carry out fault finding and repairs, returning members to the road with confidence.

You’ll start and finish from home, operating in the Harlow cluster area and surrounding towns, with full RAC van, tools, and support provided to ensure success from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide emergency breakdown support with quick, confident solutions.
• Start and end your day at home, visiting members in your local area.
