Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work on the roadside across the UK. You will diagnose faults, replace components, and provide fast, confident solutions to members in need.

You’ll work from home to start and finish, receive a dedicated RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including share schemes and breakdown cover.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end each day at home, operating a RAC van with full support tools and equipment.
