Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, change tyres, and provide quick, confident solutions to members across the UK.

You will start and end each day from home with a RAC van, fuel card, and full set of tools. The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience or 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Roadside Technician duties including diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end shifts from home with RAC van, fuel card, and required tools.
