Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the patrol team in the York cluster. You will conduct mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and ending from home with a RAC van, fuel card, and full uniform provided.

You’ll need a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of post-qualification technical experience.
• Customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van and tools provided.
