Qualifications

Mobile Plant Engineer – Field Service

Location : Remote – Opportunities across the UK

Hours : Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (42.5 hours / week)

Pay : Door-to-door | £40,000 – £44,500 Basic | £60,000 – £70,000 OTE

The Role
  • Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction and plant equipment
  • Diagnose faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Perform breakdown and planned maintenance at customer sites
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and create digital service reports
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Qualifications or Time‑served experience as a Field Service or Mobile Plant Engineer
  • Solid understanding of modern hydraulics, diesel engines, and diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations on‑site
Preferred
  • Background with OEM / dealership equipment
  • Quarry or heavy earthmoving experience desirable
  • CSCS / IPAF / Quarry Passport
