Qualifications

  • Qualified to HNC level or NVQ level 3 in instrumentation, control and automation.
  • Possess an 18th Edition qualification (BS7671).
  • Experience with calibration and maintenance of front-line instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair water production assets.
  • Liaise with and supervise contractors and suppliers.
  • Investigate asset failures and implement repairs quickly.

Skills

Practical understanding of operational plant and control systems
Problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety issues
Knowledge of relay logic and PLCs
Ability to read and fault-find from circuit diagrams
IT literate

Education

HNC level or NVQ level 3 in instrumentation, control and automation
18th Edition qualification (BS7671)
