Join Royal Mail P&FS as a Mobile Cleaning Operative – Keep Our Sites Sparkling!

Location : Chelmsford Mail Centre, Chelmsford, CM2 5AA

Job Reference Number : 332555

Pay : £13.10 per hour.

Contract Type : Permanent

Hours : 37.5 hours a week

Schedule : - 7am to 2pm - Monday to Friday 6 hours 30 minutes each day. Saturday 5 hours. Plus 5 weeks of night shift per year - 10pm to 6am - Additional £4.36 an hour when working nights.

Need for flexibility to cover late or night shifts when required also occasional Sundays and overtime.

About the Role

As a Mobile Cleaning Operative , you’ll travel between multiple sites in the Chelmsford and surroundingarea , covering for absences and holidays. Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including :

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas

You’ll be working independently or as part of a team, helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect.

This is a physical role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry – we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Driving Licence Required

Due to the mobile nature of this role, you’ll need a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points . A work van will be provided for travel between sites.
