Overview

The Golden Thread Alliance are recruiting for a Mobile Catering Assistant, to work across all schools within the trust. This role is for 12.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 11.30am - 2pm. The salary is based upon the Kent scheme pay scale KSA, £24,513 FTE, actual pro rata salary of £7,033.77.

Reporting to the the Trust Catering Manager, you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be, as you will be working in our kitchens providing extra support and covering absence.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable, and your duties will be varied, including basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and of course washing up and helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

As a very important member of our team, you will be expected to undertake training, which you will be paid for, and we will provide you with uniform. Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, and we welcome applicants seeking a better work life balance and greater flexibility.
