Overview

Midweight Interior Designer job in North London. A multidisciplinary practice based in North London is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer to work on high-end commercial projects across all stages.

Company Overview

Established in 2008, this multi-disciplinary practice has a team of 50 architectural and interior design staff. Their portfolio includes high-end hospitality, commercial, retail and residential projects, including refurbishment and new build schemes. This is a permanent position in the commercial team.

Responsibilities
  • Work on projects from start through to completion
  • Produce design schemes and put together presentations
  • Assist on all stages of FF&E including concept design, bespoke furniture and joinery, specifications (soft and hard finishes) and schedules
  • Interior architecture; produce/assist on drawing packages
  • Collaborate with architects and other team members as needed
  • On-site inspections and installations; liaise with suppliers, contractors and third parties
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience working on projects from start through to completion
  • Experience and interest in working on a mixture of commercial and hospitality projects
  • Strong creative and concept development abilities
  • Experience working on all FF&E stages
  • Good knowledge of materials, finishes and suppliers
  • Interior architecture experience with ability to produce drawing packs and detailed drawings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Suite
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
