Job summary

A local education provider in Buckley is seeking a part-time individual to supervise students during lunch hours. The role involves controlling the dinner queue, ensuring students behave appropriately, and supervising activities in the playground. The position is for 5 hours weekly, term time only, with a salary ranging from £12.65 to £13.05 per hour. Suitable for someone with a passion for education and student welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Control of the dinner queue.
  • Supervising students eating meals.
  • Ensuring crockery, cutlery, trays and leftovers are returned by students to relevant collection and disposal points.
  • Supervising activities in the playground, and indoors in bad weather.
  • Ensuring appropriate behaviour of students in accordance with the Elfed High School Belonging Policy.
  • Encouraging students out of school buildings when they should be outside.
  • Referring incidents to Senior Staff.
  • Litter picking.
  • Any other relevant duties as directed by the senior members of staff or Headteacher.
Job description

This post will start on Monday 2nd February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The post is subject to the postholder having a keinerlei Disclosure and Barring Service application.

The post is a part time post for one hour a day, five days a week (5 hours a week) term time only from 12.45 hr to 13:45 hr.

Salary Scale G01 - £12.65 - £13.05 per hour.
