Job summary

Westcoast Limited is looking for a proactive licensing specialist in Reading to support partners with Microsoft cloud and on-premises licensing. You will advise on CSP, Open Value, OVS, and related programmes, handling inquiries by phone and email while maintaining strong partner relationships.

You’ll develop licensing knowledge, contribute to a high-volume support flow, and have opportunities to expand into additional cloud vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft licensing is advantageous.
• Sales or customer-facing experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for partners and customers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in licensing guidance.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Willingness to continuously learn licensing products and programmes.
• Ability to explain licensing concepts clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support and quotations for partners via phone and email.
• Recommend appropriate Microsoft licensing solutions based on partner needs.
• Manage a high volume of emails and calls with a professional telephone manner.
• Deliver fast, high-quality service and build strong partner relationships.
• Advise on transitioning licensing to cloud services and CSP programs.
• Support maintenance of legacy Microsoft Volume Licensing agreements.
• Process orders to support the sales cycle and pursue development opportunities.
• Pursue Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900) and keep licensing knowledge current.
