Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Support Mainframe (System z) Storage projects with varying degrees of complexity – includes system design, build, development, implementation, maintenance, operations, and client support across infrastructure and software
• Assist and help train junior analysts – includes guiding and providing technical peer reviews
• Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results

Requirements

• Experienced MF Storage administrator with 5-10 years' of experience
• Ability to work under minimal supervision from more seasoned consultants or managers – includes support of senior personnel and project managers on technical projects
• Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
