An established industry player is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their busy Bodyshop team in Bolton. This permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate with opportunities for overtime. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality body repairs by removing and refitting parts, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and reporting any unseen damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, efficiency in their work, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Qualifications

  • Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level.
  • Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter.

Job description

MET Technician Vacancy:

- Salary: Up to £20 per hour
- Overtime available at a great rate
- Hours: 39 hours, Monday to Friday
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, increases to 25 with time served
- Permanent role

Our client, a busy Bodyshop are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician for their site in the Bolton area.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
  2. Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
  3. To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
  4. Have a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
  5. Be able to work in a team and as an individual

Minimum Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

  1. Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level
  2. Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
  3. ATA is advantageous but not essential
