PSD have successfully hired for this team for over 15 years. I’ve already hired 80% of the first Go to Market Direct Merchant Team, now asked to support the 2nd wave to join the emerging team in Q1 2026.
I seek 4 seasoned new BD professionals, who are interested in explore an individual contributor roles to help my Payments client attract key hold out Merchants to join their acceptance network, focused on Retail, Hotel, Food & Beverage / Restaurant targets in U.K.
You’ll be responsible for driving acceptance growth through a direct-to-merchant sales approach, but utilising PSP / Acquirer connections.
The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engaging with merchants to drive acceptance take-up, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed while delivering key wins & KPI’s.
Applicants must have a solid network of potential prospects and partners in the target list of verticals.
