Overview

Join Independence Support Ltd (ISL) – Make a Real Difference in People’s Lives! ISL, based in Crewe, Cheshire, operates a supported living project dedicated to empowering individuals with complex mental health needs. Our service supports 22 people in self-contained apartments, enhanced by the latest assistive technology. We aim to support individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible. Alongside the supported living, we also offer a Crisis Café Service for short-term interventions to individuals who are unable to manage their mental health independently and may require signposting.

What you’ll do

You will provide outcome-focused, person-centered support that promotes independence and maximises opportunities for the people we support. Your role will include:

  • Supporting with medication management
  • Teaching and encouraging life skills
  • Assisting with daily living tasks
  • Facilitating community access and engagement
  • Providing emotional support
  • Helping manage tenancies
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive the best possible support
Who we’re looking for

We need full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (23.5 hours) staff ready to work across day and night shifts, working around a 7-day rota. Full induction is provided. The shifts range from 8-8 day and night, 10am-6pm, 10am-10pm.
