Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Band 6 RMN for a full-time position at Alfred Barrow health centre in Barrow-in-Furness. The role involves assessing and treating children and families facing mental health challenges. This 3–6 month contract offers £24.00 – £25.00 per hour, with regular support and updates provided. Candidates must be qualified with NMC registration. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with the Alfred Barrow health centre based in Barrow-in‑Furness who are looking for a Band 6 RMN to join them on a contract basis.

This is a 3–6 month contract with potential extension opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care programs for children and families.
  • Undertake risk assessment for individual children, young people and their families/carers.
  • Responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers.
  • Treatment of young people who present with mental health problems and especially those that are at risk of attempted deliberate self‑harm.
  • Clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording.

This is a full‑time position; hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for 37.5 hours a week.

Pay rate: £24.00 – £25.00 per hour (depending on experience).

The applicant must be qualified with the NMC to be considered for the position.
