Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a pharmacist to join their clinical team. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, optimizing pharmaceutical care and supporting mental health services. This permanent, full-time role requires a Master’s in Pharmacy and three years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving patient care and have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years post-registration training and experience in hospital Pharmacy.
• Practical Clinical experience including direct patient contact with Mental Health patients.
• Knowledge of pharmacy law and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy service to allocated wards and advise medical staff.
• Facilitate medicines reconciliation and discharge planning.
• Support delivery of education and service improvement.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to use computer systems including Excel and Word

Able to work under pressure

Education

Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

General Pharmaceutical Council membership

Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice (Band 6)

Tools

IT Dispensing and Stock Control software
