Qualifications

  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice.
  • Specialist Registration status with GMC via CCT/CESR in Medical Oncology (or within 6 months of interview date).
  • Medical Degree.
  • Royal College Qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead care for patients with melanoma.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Contribute to the Acute Oncology Service.
  • Teach junior doctors and engage in clinical trials.

Skills

Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to clinical excellence and governance
Experience in melanoma and systemic anti-cancer therapy
Experience in a second tumour site of interest
Active participation in clinical research and trials
Involvement in teaching and training at undergraduate/postgraduate levels

Education

Full GMC registration with a license to practice
Specialist Registration status with GMC via CCT/CESR in Medical Oncology
Medical Degree
Royal College Qualification or equivalent
