Medical Workforce Manager - Rota Management

As a Rota Co-ordinator within the centralised Rota Team youwill join the Medical and Dental Workforce department, which also coversMedical & Dental HR, Medical & Dental Recruitment, Appraisal &Revalidation, and Job Planning. Our centralised Rota Team is responsible forthe management of medical rotas across key specialties, including GeneralSurgery, Urology, Integrated Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.This role is central to maintaining safe staffing levels and supportinghigh-quality Patient care through the effective co-ordination of medical rotasin respect of all grades of Doctor. A solid understanding of medical contractsand terms and conditions is essential to ensure rotas align with contractualentitlements and meet service needs.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a knowledgeable and collaborativeteam, where your input directly supports the smooth running of clinicalservices and contributes to Patient outcomes. Main duties of the job

This role demands a proactive, focused individual whounderstands the impact of effective planning on clinical safety and servicedelivery. You will need to be confident working with data, able to prioritiseunder pressure, and have an understanding and capability to interpret medicalcontracts including resident Doctor T&Cs and specialty-specificarrangements.You will be the central point of contact for rota-related queries, oftenworking with minimal supervision, and therefore sound judgement, initiative andproblem-solving skills are essential. Your ability to communicate effectivelywith Clinicians, Managers, agencies and colleagues will make you a trusted andreliable member of the team.Whether its reacting to short-notice gaps, monitoring WTD compliance, orsupporting performance targets, no two days are the same.
