Job Overview

The successful candidate will need to have very solid keyboard skills to undertake this role, preferably with a qualification of audio typing or copy typing or demonstrable experience typing high volumes of notes or documents.

Working in a team you will be trained to type clinical dictation in a variety of specialities developing a wealth of knowledge of medical terminology.

Audio typing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. An understanding of medical terminology is desirable and advantageous although not essential as training will be provided together with training on the Digital Dictation system.
