A healthcare organization in Frimley is seeking a motivated Equipment Library Technician to support the management of medical devices. You will assist with the loan and return of equipment, ensuring compliance with standards and accurate data management. This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing and forward-thinking service within the Clinical Engineering Department at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. The Equipment Library plays a crucial role in the safe, effective and timely management of medical devices across our hospitals, and we are seeking a motivated individual to support and enhance this essential service.
Whether you bring previous experience or are looking to grow into an administrative and operational support role, this post offers the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care. You will assist in the co-ordination, issue and return of medical devices, maintaining accurate loan data and ensuring equipment is available where and when it is needed.
As an Equipment Library Technician, you will support the daily operations of the service, including:
The role requires confident use of Microsoft Office and specialist database systems, with the ability to develop strong data‑entry, organisation and prioritisation skills.
