Princess Alexandra Hospitalhave an exciting opportunity for a MedicalEngineering Technician at the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. Theservice supports all hospital wards and departments across our sites in Harlow,Bishops Stortford, and Epping. You will be expected to work across these sitesas required by the service to ensure the reliability and safety of criticalmedical equipment.
As a EBME Engineer, you will be responsible for themaintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of electrical andbiomedical equipment used throughout the Trust. You will support clinical staffin the effective and safe use of medical devices, troubleshoot technicalissues, implement software updates, and utilise IT systems to monitor andmanage equipment performance. The role requires strong technical expertise,excellent problem-solving skills, and knowledge of industry standards andcompliance requirements, including ISO 9001:2011. You will be expected to workflexibly across multiple sites, contributing to the efficient operation of themedical equipment library and participating in service improvement initiatives.
